The Project Liberty Summer School is particularly well suited for students who are English language learners, or who have had limited formal schooling prior to arriving in the United States. Teachers focus on English, Math, and Reading/Writing skills. The students also have an opportunity to go on field trips during the session.
Instruction takes place in the Prospect Park classroom space, which is located at 1450 Maple Drive. Beginning in mid-July and running for four consecutive weeks, students are placed in small group instruction for up to 3 hours. There are morning and afternoon sessions.
Students are recommended for this program and are selected according to individual needs.
Please contact your child’s ELL teacher for more information.
