2001 alumni, Breinne M. Regan graduated, with Dean's
List Honors for all years, from the University
of Pittsburgh, obtaining a Bachelor of Science
Degree in Applied Developmental Psychology on May1,
2005. She will intern at Columbus Children's Hospital
in the summer and will attend graduate school at
Pitt in the fall.

Dean's

A.J.Little, a 2004
graduate from Baldwin High School earned Dean's
List recognition at Carnegie-Mellon University
for both the Fall and Spring semesters. A.J. is
majoring in Biological Sciences and is a member
of the Carnegie-Mellon football team.

Phillips -Dean's List at John Hopkins University
Baldwin High School
2004 graduate, Erik Phillips made the fall 2004
Dean's List based on his outstanding academic performance.
Erik is a freshman student at John Hopkins University's
Whiting School of Engineering. He is the son of
Nancy and John Phillips.

Diane
Andreyko - Big East Volleyball Rookie of the Year
2004 Baldwin High
School graduate Diane Andreyko has been selected
Big East Volleyball Rookie of the Year. Andreyko
is just the second University of Pittsburgh player
to be named Rookie of the Year. She finished third
on the Pittsburgh squad in kills with a 3.66 average
(355), playing in all but two of UP’s games.
She also gave the Panthers 2.01 digs per game.
Andreyko was seventh in the BIG EAST with a 4.11
kills average in conference matches.

Your Purbalite- Hot off the Press
Volume 68, number 1 of the Purbalite was distributed
on October 29. The Purbalite is an award winning
student publication of Baldwin High School. The newspaper
is published through the efforts of the students
in the newspaper classes. Editors - in - Chief are
Nickey Brichacek and Sarah Fazio and the teacher
adviser is Ms. Christine Kondrot. The main objective
is to write balanced accounts of pertinent news relevant
to Baldwin students and to provide a forum for the
expression of personal opinion. The paper is financed
solely through the sale of individual copies of the
paper and fund - raising campaigns. The cost is fifty
cents an issue. A subscription to this outstanding
newspaper may be purchased by calling 412-885-7922.
