Memorial Scholarship. The award recognizes

- Gold Medal Recipients
The Pittsburgh Tribune -
Review honored Baldwin High School students
for their community service and achievement.
Four hundred students from the southern and
western suburbs were nominated and one hundred
of those students were invited to a banquet
held at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Coraopolis.
From those students, ten gold medal winners
were chosen. Those winners included Baldwin
High School juniors Russell Grant and Rob
Perrone.

- Children's Festival Chorus
McAnnulty Elementary music
teacher, Ms. Mary Ann Seibel, pre-auditioned
second grade students for the Children's
Festival Chorus. The Children's Festival
Chorus is the premiere children's singing
group in Pittsburgh. They perform with the
Pittsburgh Symphony, Pittsburgh Opera, Mendelssohn
Choir, as well as their own concerts. This
year’s second grade students that qualified
from McAnnulty Elementary are: Jilliam Root,
Jillian Weidt, Carly Wrobleski, and Nataizya
Lombe.

Education award of the school year, Paynter Elementary
