is a $9,000,000 statewide initiative that provides
grants of up to $500 to parents of children who
are struggling in reading and math. Children
in kindergarten through ninth grade are eligible
to participate in the program if they score at

or in the bottom half of state-approved tests. |

health and role stigma plays in preventing not
only treatment but simple dialog. The campaign
is being administered by the county’s Community
Connections for Families program (CCF) and will
pilot its work in five schools throughout Allegheny
County.
