On Friday, February 27th, Baldwin High School choir students recently had the opportunity to learn from accomplished alumnus Connor Doran, who returned to work with students in a musical theater vocal workshop. Doran, whose career has taken him to New York City and national touring productions, currently serves as Associate Conductor/Keyboard for the national tour of Beauty and the Beast. During the workshop, he shared professional insights on vocal performance, musical storytelling, and the collaborative spirit of musical theater. Doran encouraged students to pursue every opportunity, remain flexible, and dedicate themselves to their craft—reminding them that growth often happens when artists challenge themselves and embrace new experiences.
