Long-time Baldwin High School cross country coach Rich Wright is being honored with a cross country course at White Oak Park. The new running trail will be celebrated with a sign unveiling ceremony on Sunday, December 17th at noon at White Oak Park.

A beloved coach who made a difference in the lives of hundreds of athletes, Wright turned to coaching to center himself after he and his family was in a serious automobile accident. He coached the Baldwin High School cross country team for 25 years, from 1992–2017.

A dedicated runner himself, Wright runs every day and has maintained his daily running practice over 3 decades.
