Baldwin High School student Kavya Odari and her uplifting business, K.O. Cosmetics, were recently featured on KDKA. Odari immigrated to the United States from Nepal as a refugee when she was 4 years-old. She was frequently bullied when she was young and launched a line of beauty products with an inclusive message. She explains, “I believe that everyone deserves to feel like a Rani—queen in Nepali—because you are majestic, graceful, dignified, and are capable of so much more than you think.”
