Student-athletes from Baldwin High School took part in a national day of remembrance to honor veterans. Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, the mission to Remember, Honor, and Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies in National Cemeteries across the United States to honor our Veterans. Volunteers place wreaths on our Veterans' graves to honor their legacy.

Over 65 student-athletes laid wreaths at the Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville on the morning of December 16th.

“My dad spent many years cheering for these boys! I was so honored and I know my dad was too that his grandson and teammates placed his wreath this year,” shared Julie Brain after watching her son, Trevor Brain, place a wreath on the grave of his grandfather, Charles William Freyer.
