Baldwin High School Seniors Bailey and Brendan O'Malley both won gold at the Baldwin Invitational on Friday, May 3rd. The twin brothers are known for their leadership on the team.
Bailey O'Malley took gold in shot-put for the second year in a row. Brendan O'Malley earned gold in the 400-meter dash and the long jump. "Not only to be a Baldwin Invite champion but a repeat champion is just another dream I thought I never accomplish when I was only a freshman," Bailey told The Purbalite. Brendan shared his brother's elation. "Winning was great, but since it was the last meet I am ever going to have at the home track, it felt even better," Brendan reflected.
