The Rich Tradition of Homecoming Continues

Homecoming Week at Baldwin High School was full of exciting events—some new and some old. Activities such as a car smash during lunches, viewing of the homecoming-themed movie Spiderman Homecoming on the football field, and minute-to-win-it games during the pep rally were all new additions to the festivities. The traditional football game against Connellsville gave the Fighting Highlanders a smashing victory.

The junior and senior classes spearheaded the homecoming efforts, making posters, promoting ticket sales for the event, and decorating the school for the dance. The Homecoming Dance that was held on Saturday, October 7th, had over 600 students in attendance. During the dance, the Homecoming Court was announced and the King and Queen were crowned. Students enjoyed the themed dance with red, blue, and black Spiderman decorations as well as refreshments to please everyone. All of the festivities, culminating with the dance, promoted a tremendous amount of school spirit and Fighting Highlander pride!
