On October 12th, the first meeting of the American Sign Language (ASL) Club was held and there was a great turnout! Some students were interested in learning sign language for the first time, while others had some prior knowledge of the language and wanted to practice. Students went over the alphabet in ASL as well as how to sign their name. The plan for the school year is to continue to learn conversational sign language and interact with their peers at the meetings using ASL. Students who weren't able to make it to the first meeting are invited to join moving forward!
