Students Make Donations to Troops

The first week in December, the seventh-grade science teachers at Harrison Middle School started a donation drive to send to some of our troops overseas. Students and faculty participated by bringing in different snacks, coffees, power bars, protein bars, ramen, oatmeal, gum, sunscreen, and Chapstick just to list a few items. Some students even enclosed holiday cards filled with jokes, weather updates, and gratitude for soldiers' service. The drive was a huge success. Ms. Donoghue, Ms. McNally, and Mrs. Kronander boxed up all the items and delivered them to the post office Friday, December 7th so the items could reach the troops before Christmas. A big thank you to HMS faculty, students, and their parents/guardians for supporting this wonderful cause.
