HMS students in Ms. Davis’s class designed and created their own Monopoly board games through various technological processes. They start by prototyping their game boards. Once completed, they use a laser cutter which provides precise cuts and engravings for their designs, allowing for intricate patterns and layouts.

Students enhance the gameplay experience by utilizing Google applications to develop key components like money and property cards, fostering teamwork and digital literacy. A major highlight is the hands-on experience with 3D printing, where they design unique game pieces using software to bring their creative visions to life.

Additionally, students explore graphic design with Adobe Illustrator, learning vector graphics, layering, and color theory to create visually appealing game elements. This comprehensive project promotes creativity, teamwork, and valuable tech skills, allowing students to express their individuality in game design.
