On Wednesday, September 11, 2024, Mrs. Artman’s and Mrs. Knerr’s third grade students at LES celebrated Patriots Day by honoring our heroes from 9/11. We learned about what it means to be a hero, the jobs and work that many helped with on 9/11/01, and being a proud American.  Many of us dressed in red, white, and blue to show our American pride! Together, our classes watched videos, listened to songs about America and created our own patriot activity book.
