LES students in Mrs. Walsh and Mrs. Grecco’s classes celebrated Read Across America Week by rotating through literacy stations all about the Dr. Seuss classic, The Lorax. Students were working on character traits, important plot events, setting, comparing characters, and creating a new ending for the story. This environmental tale sparked important discussions about taking care of our planet and making a positive impact. Our young readers were engaged and inspired by these fun literacy activities!
