Fourth-grade students took advantage of the new LGI space at R.A. Lutz Elementary this month. Mrs. Murray and Mrs. Mainarich combined their science and social studies classes to have students learn about the many different landforms found in the midwest region of the United States! Students were paired with a partner in the opposite class and worked together to create a travel brochure for that region. Using an AI generated video, partners had to choose from a list of landforms, research those landforms, and list the states where those landforms are found. By using their background knowledge from their prior science and social studies classes, the students created amazing travel brochures while enjoying their new learning space!
