Welcome Letter

Dear R. A. Lutz Elementary School Families,

My name is Heatherlyn Wessel and I am excited to introduce myself as the Principal of R. A. Lutz Elementary School. My journey in the Baldwin-Whitehall community spans over 15 wonderful years, during which I've embraced various roles. Starting as a Kindergarten teacher, I then stepped into the role of Assistant Principal at W.R. Paynter Elementary School, and most recently, I also served as the Principal at J. A. Harrison Education Center. Joining me in leading R. A. Lutz Elementary are the talented Laurel Rader and Noah Wolf, completing our dynamic administrative team. Together, we are thrilled to welcome each and every student to our school family.

I am genuinely excited to collaborate with you in fostering your child's educational success. It's not just a joy to work with your children, but also to partner with you in their journey. I'm looking forward to seeing and celebrating your children's achievements through your eyes. There are so many wonderful moments ahead for us to share at R. A. Lutz Elementary School.

Alongside our dedicated teachers and staff, I am committed to maintaining and enhancing the proud legacy of success in the Baldwin-Whitehall School District. This includes building strong, collaborative relationships with you, our students, and our community partners. I am thrilled to forge these connections as I step into my role as Principal.

Together, we are embarking on an exciting new school year. I can't wait to navigate this journey with you and your children.

Here's to the start of a fantastic adventure!

Heatherlyn Wessel
