The students in Mrs. Popp’s kindergarten class are practicing the fundamentals of math by learning to recognize, count, and form numbers. In order to add some fun to these lessons, students are incorporating large and fine motor skills by forming numbers with play-doh and flashlights! The play-doh number formation was a big hit. You can see from their smiles that the students were so proud of their work! The flashlight number formation was so much fun as well. A very “illuminating” way to practice the important foundations of math.
