Exciting developments are underway in the Baldwin-Whitehall School District’s new pre-kindergarten classroom! During the first two weeks of September, our pre-K students have been engaging in a variety of activities designed to foster their growth and development across multiple domains. Each week, our pre-K students dive into a new and exciting theme. Recently, they’ve been exploring apples through a series of engaging activities. They’ve observed and described apples, sorted and patterned them, measured them, painted with them, and, of course, enjoyed tasting them. The children have also been celebrating their individuality by identifying their names, tracing and decorating the human body, reflecting on what makes them unique, and sharing something or someone special to them during Show and Tell.
We are thrilled to continue this exciting journey of discovery and growth as the school year progresses. Upcoming themes will include pumpkins and leaves, the human body and senses, and families and communities. Each day offers new opportunities for students to develop critical skills, build friendships, and celebrate their uniqueness. We look forward to watching their enthusiasm for learning continue to blossom!
