Holiday Activities Help Students Practice Skills

'Twas the season in McAnnulty's Kindergartens. The halls were bedecked with stockings, wreaths, and holiday lights that highlighted the children's' writing skills and list making. Countdown chains, Santa's beard, Roll-a-Reindeer, and gingerbread games reinforced counting, one-to-one correspondence, and subtraction. Students journeyed to different countries and learned about other holiday traditions. All of this was capped off with gingerbread house making; a Polar Express Day where students all wore pajamas and travelled to the North Pole, and a holiday party. It was great learning and great fun! Happy new year from McAnnulty!
