Through the generosity of WQED and the PBS Ready to Learn Grant, the McAnnulty Masterminds After School Program was developed as an opportunity for students and their families to participate in a variety of STEAM activities and projects. Now entering its second year, this program offers enrichment opportunities to engage the students and their families in a variety of STEAM activities and projects to build a stronger home/school and community partnership for early elementary students and their families. Students participate in after-school sessions with educators. The program then brings children and their families together through family creative-learning sessions held on Wednesday evenings. Woven throughout the program is the belief that learning is fun—and it's most fun when we do it together.
