Pajama Night at McAnnulty Elementary School

On Wednesday, March 20th, the students and families of McAnnulty Elementary School were invited to the First-annual Pajama Night. Students and families were asked to wear their pajamas and enjoy bedtime stories read by mystery readers, visit the book fair, and eat cookies and milk. The families started in the gym to listen to a bedtime story read by Mrs. Wessel. Then, they had a chance to visit classrooms to hear a variety of stories read by the mystery readers, their teachers. Families also had an opportunity to visit the book fair in the library and enjoy the perfect bedtime snack: cookies and milk. The librarians from the local libraries also attended the event to provide information about programs offered at our community libraries. As the families visited classrooms to hear the stories, they had a passport that was stamped from the mystery readers. These passports were collected and used for a special drawing to win books! The students really enjoyed the event. A huge thank you to all of the people who participated and helped to make this event a success!
