Students Develop Motor Skills in Physical Education

All Physical Education classes have completed their soccer unit and are now progressing through foot-eye coordination centers. Foot-eye centers promote balance, coordination, spatial awareness, and muscular strength—while emphasizing teamwork amongst their classmates.

Students work in groups at their centers—while moving to music—and rotate throughout the gym to different centers for different challenges.

Examples of Foot Eye Centers include the balance beam, walking cups, jump rope, balance mazes, soccer bowling, moon bouncers, lava rocks, hurdles, and skip its!
