Constance Mulbah Named One of Pittsburgh's 40 under 40

Baldwin High School alumna Constance Mulbah (class of '08) has been named one of Pittsburgh's 40 under 40.

Mulbah has worked in education and advocacy for the last decade, first serving in the Peace Corp, and then in various community organizations in the region. Mulbah and her family came to the United States when she was 14, fleeing unrest in Liberia, West Africa. Her experience as a refugee has fueled her work helping others.

Mulbah recently founded Kpo'ma Women, a non-profit organization dedicated to eradicating poverty in rural Liberia, West Africa. Organizers explain, "Kpo'ma Women was created to increase access to resources, investment opportunity, technology and sustainable business development initiatives for women in rural Bong County. We work at the grassroot level to build capacity and to encourage long-term growth opportunities."
