Got a kid with a great idea? This national challenge is offering $1 million to problem-solving students.

Do you know a young person with a big idea? A national challenge highlighted by Kidsburgh is inviting students in grades K–12 to share creative solutions to real-world problems.

The Mott Million Dollar Challenge gives students the chance to compete for a share of one million dollars in prizes. Students can enter on their own or with a partner by submitting a short video that explains a problem they care about and how their idea could help solve it.

This challenge is designed to encourage creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Families and educators can support students as they brainstorm ideas and think through ways to make a positive impact in their school, community, or everyday life.

Entries are due February 27, 2026, so now is a great time to start the conversation and encourage young innovators to share their thinking.
