The BWEF is pleased to announce the addition of Patricia Fusco and Denise Wells, Principal of McAnnulty Elementary School and Assistant Principal of Baldwin High School, respectively, to the Baldwin-Whitehall Educational Foundation.
Mrs. Fusco has served the Baldwin-Whitehall School District since 2006 when she joined the District as Assistant Principal of Paynter Elementary School. She became principal a few years later and has held the same title at McAnnulty since 2020. Before joining the District, the Baldwin High School and Point Park alumnus spent nine years teaching in the Pittsburgh Public Schools system. Patricia will join the foundation as an officer and will provide valuable insights into how we can support teaching and learning at the elementary level. The Whitehall native lives with her husband and three children, and loves everything about being a principal!
With nearly three decades of experience in the Baldwin-Whitehall School District, Denise has held multiple posts within our schools, most recently as a sixth-grade ELA teacher at Harrison Middle School before becoming assistant principal at Baldwin High School. Her commitment to education and leadership is evident in all that she does, for as an educator and former athlete, she understands the transformative power of education and sports. The Baldwin High School alum lives in Brentwood with her husband, sons, and beloved dog, Rooster. She 'bleeds purple' and as a District ambassador to BWEF, she will provide new insights into how the foundation can create meaningful learning opportunities for faculty and students in our high school.
