Students and Staff Serve the Community through Second-Annual Day of Caring

On Friday, May 3rd, The Baldwin-Whitehall School District hosted its second-annual Day of Caring. Dozens of students and staff donated their time by helping with projects at over 100 sites in the area. Dr. Randal Lutz, Superintendent of the Baldwin-Whitehall School District, shared, "I am eternally grateful for all the support we receive from our community in the effort to provide a quality education for all students. I designed this program last year as a way to allow our staff to say 'thank you' for that level of support and commitment."

Dr. Lutz, along with members of the Baldwin High School football team, lent a hand with yard work at the home of 89-year-old Rosetta Bower, Dr. Lutz's bus driver when he was in school. See more in the Trib's coverage of the event.
