BWEF Sponsors a Little Free Library

BWEF has sponsored a Little Free Library for community use inside the commons area at Caste Village Shopping Center. The library was made possible through the generosity of Kathleen M. O'Leary, a lifelong advocate of education and literacy. It has joined a global network where readers can exchange books for free and will be maintained in perpetuity by the Whitehall Public Library.

Little Free Library's mission is to inspire a love of reading and to increase access to books for readers of all ages and backgrounds. Starting in 2009, the initiative now boasts more than 90,000 libraries around the world and facilitates over a million book exchanges each year. Next time you are in Caste Village feel free to participate in the exchange by taking a book and leaving a book at Charter 90342!
