Pre-Kindergarten Program

Applications for the Pre-Kindergarten Program will be accepted from March 17 - April 30, 2025.

(Application window extended until April 30, 2025)

If you and your family are new to our community, we welcome you to the District!
We are excited to be continuing our Pre-Kindergarten program for the 2025-2026 year.

New this year, the program will operate as a half-day program,
with one session in the morning and one session in the afternoon (exact start/end times to be determined).

The Pre-Kindergarten program will be held at McAnnulty Elementary School and will operate Monday through Friday, following the BWSD Calendar.

Please read all instructions and review the required application documents prior to submitting the application.

**PLEASE NOTE - Submitting an application does NOT ensure automatic enrollment into the program.**
(If more than 40 applications are received by April 11, a selection process will occur the week of April 28, 2025 to select students for the program. Parents/guardians who have a child selected for the program will receive an acceptance letter with additional information to begin the registration process. All other eligible students will be placed on an ordered wait list.)

ELIGIBILITY

In order to be eligible for the pre-kindergarten program, a child must:

• Be four years of age before September 1, 2025;
• Reside within the Baldwin-Whitehall School District;
• Meet the guidelines regarding family income listed below.

ELIGIBILITY - FAMILY INCOME

In order to be eligible for the pre-kindergarten program, the family's income must be no more than 300%  of the federal poverty guidelines. Please reference the chart below. If your income is above these guidelines, your child will not be eligible for the program.
