Wodarek Wins Best Visual Artist from Pittsburgh City Paper for Second Consecutive Year

Baldwin High School teacher James Wodarek has been voted Best Visual Artist in the Pittsburgh City Paper’s Best Of PGH Reader’s Poll for the second year in a row.

Mr. Wodarek is an art teacher and department chair at Baldwin High School. His art studio is located at Atithi, in Sharpsburg, and his artwork is exhibited in several New York City art galleries. Artwork can be found on Instagram: @jameswodarek or online at www.jameswodarek.com.

His artwork will be featured in an upcoming exhibition, “Industria Nova,” with an opening reception on Friday, October 3, from 7–9 p.m. at Atithi Studios (1020 N Canal St, Pittsburgh, PA 15215). This evening offers a unique opportunity to experience Wodarek’s striking, industrial-inspired works.
