Halloween came early for students in Ms. McPaul’s first-grade class. Children were invited to go trick-or-treating at Overlook Green the evening of October 30th. Children wore creative costumes including a ghost, police officer, fireman, and a banana. Halloween songs, such as “If You’re a Monster and You Know It,” “Jack-o-Lantern,” “Once I Had a Pumpkin,” “Halloween is Here,” and “Five Little Pumpkins” were performed while Mr. Tim Grgurich played the piano.  The children walked around to each resident trick-or-treating and engaged in conversation.  To end the evening, all participants received cookies, cheese balls, and a drink. What a spooktacular evening!
